On the fourth Monday of the month, we support the National Trust Dementia Friends team with a Memory Club at Carding Mill Valley Pavilion between 10.30am and 12.30pm.

We have a speaker for the first part of the session – recent topics have included Spring Flowers, Bird Song, and Wool – followed by an optional short walk in the valley where we try to apply some of our new knowledge.

On our annual Top of the Mynd outing, we take a minibus up the Burway to explore “up high” – in July 2025, the National Trust Rangers team guided us around some of the “humps and bumps” which have characterised the Long Mynd since the Bronze Age.
